So I need a new car bad! I have bad credit, went through a bad divorce, stuff added up fast....
Well the hunk of junk i'm driving now is on its last leg and I need a new reliable car that gets better gas mileage.
I applied for a loan for an 8k car offered to put 50% down and STILL got declined! How can I get a car loan?
Autoloan bad credit? decline even with 50% down!?
You don't need a car loan you need a car. Sell the piece of crap car and take the money plus the $4000 cash that you say you have and go buy yourself a nice used car.
There are plenty of good solid used cars out there for $4500. All you have to do is look for them.
Autoloan bad credit? decline even with 50% down!?
You should go to Enterprise.. Where they rent cars ,, they also sell cars really cheap I probably have the worst credit ever and got approved for a 08 model
Reply:Do you have a judgment or repo on your credit? Sometimes those ellicit automatic turndowns, and right now's credit crunch isn't helping you.
I agree with the above advice, I'd go find a $4500 vehicle and get through the rough part now, then worry about an auto loan later.
Reply:You will find the economy isnt helping you either.
I am married and my wife and I have an excellent credit rating with no defaults ever.
We are both managers and had an existing personal loan with a bank and went to borrow another $7k to consolidate a credit card and to put toward our wedding.
We are already paying more off our loan than what we would be paying if we were approved.
We were declined for the loan, so I went for the loan on my own, of $7k and was declined again.
Damn US economy reflects on the whole world.
Reply:When my husband and I seperated he lost his Pickup, well when we got back together it came up on my credit as well.Anyways the only place that would take us is Auto Sales and Finance.I dont know if they have that in your area, but if you can find one they will take you.We have very bad credit, but with 2500 down on a used Grand Prix for 8000 grand we were able to have a car with payments of 250.They will work with you if you explain your situation, and you have a good job.Go to autosalesandfinance.com or L2auto.com is another place that takes people with bad credit.
Reply:Well, if can afford to pay 4K deposit, cut your expectations a little and buy a car that costs 4K to 4.5K, good used cars are OK. Just get them checked by auto engineer before you buy.
Reply:I used to sell cars and there's a few options. Unfortunately all too often I ran into people who had gone through a divorce and their credit was messed up.
One of the people below suggested a good used car. That's certainly a choice. But if you put a lot of miles on a car you're starting out in a hole, because a car that costs $4,500 is gonna have at least 80k to 100+k miles on it.
You have a couple other choices. One is to apply for a loan on your own, outside of the dealership, with a lender that specializes in giving loans (and chances) to people with bad credit. One such company is RoadLoans.
I had a friend with a bankruptcy (and more) on her credit and they approved her no problem. They send you a check that you take to the dealership and use to purchase a car.
Here's a quick link to RoadLoans if you want to check them out:
http://gdlckjoe.com/clk.aspx?l=12265%26amp;c=3...
You're other alternative is to try a "Buy Here, Pay Here" lot. Someone like a DriveTime (and maybe Enterprise as the guy said below).
Drive time has a variety of cars. Some have miles on them, some are newer. But they finance the vehicles themselves, so they don't turn anyone away. THEY ARE THE BANK, and their specialty is bad credit loans.
DriveTime is not in every state and I don't know what state you're in so you'll want to check that out first before filling out an application. Here's a quick link to DriveTime if you want it:
http://www.dpbolvw.net/click-2345738-104...
Finally, here's some advice for you. Whatever you buy, DON'T KEEP IT. The interest rate is guaranteed to be really high. But if you make ALL your payments on time for about 18 payments (NOT months) your credit will be getting back on track and you'll be able to buy a newer car for a lot less interest.
Plus when you pay off a large debt your score goes up, so trading out of the vehicle after a year and a half will boost your score significantly.
Hope all this information helps!
For more like it you can visit my website at www.1-800badcredit.com
Good luck to you!
Reply:Don't!!! Buy a 4k car and rebuild your credit.
Reply:Finding a bad credit auto lender take a little bit of work to find the right one. When looking to buy a new or used car, the dealer may offer bad credit financing, or refer you to a lender. Car buyers should consider arranging their own financing. Bad credit auto loans are simple yet complicated and some lenders will try to take%26lt;!--advantage of you. It helps to know your available options. Before applying for a car loan, try to get a copy of your personal credit report. Lenders base approval on your credit score and credit history. Some lenders classify sub prime borrowers as persons with scores below say 700. On the other hand, another lender may qualify a borrower with the same score for prime rates.
http://best-loans.awardspace.com/autoloa...
http://best-loans.awardspace.com/auto.ht...
Unless you have a 700 or higher credit score, it might be a good idea to look at your credit report and see what you can do to improve your credit score. A 700 score will get you the best rates at the best loan terms. Any credit score higher will not change what a lender can offer you, since you will already qualify for the best loan deal. Where you will start having trouble is if you fall below a credit score of 700. When you fall below--%26gt;lenders see you as a risk and will start charging higher interest rates in order to offset the risk.At this point your only options are to seek a bad credit lender or get to work on fixing your credit score. There are a number of quick things to do to improve your credit rating and get the loan you need at the rate you want.
Reply:see first of all bad credit no matter if your credit history is good according to that you will get a loan, but try for some online sources they provide car loans for people have bad credit and also with a low interest rates, try to contact them and get your problem resolved, for your reference try http://www.carloan123.net my one of friend had recently get a car loan from there for bad credit and also with a low interest rates, you may try this source.

Get the CHEAPEST Car you can FIND- that gets the BEST gas mileage. Forget about how it looks. And FORGET how OLD it is. For a FIRST Car, you just want something that RUNS, is "cheap" to Own, %26amp; is not gonna cost you a fortune in Insurance. How much You "Save" -will depend on how CLOSE you can get to the Specifications I mentioned. If You find a real "Bargain", -it could "save you" from having to go out %26amp; get a third job to pay for it !!! :)

Saturn's are good and cheap. $You should be able to get a nice one for $3000-$5000
Reply:that depends on how much you want to spend on the car,but have at least a good 2 or 3 grand down, mor would be better. On a car the average person spends 40 a week on gas,if you have a job to go,and visiting family and friends. If it has great gas mileage and you dont waste you gas just cruseing then you can make the gas money stretch an extra week. But plane on spending at least 160 a month on gas.
Reply:the best car would be either a Honda Civic or a Toyota Corolla. they're reliable, safe and good on gas.
And the average person spends about 30 dollars a week on gas, but if your smart and walk as much as you can, and drive less, you'll be able to run off 20 dollars a week.

I want to buy BMW 540i 1999 model and 117000 miles ran plz tell me what is the best price for this car?
I wouldn't spend more than $11,000 on it unless it has had every required service (esp the 100k one). Generally the 540's are less reliable and break down alot more than the other 5 series.

the best price for this car would be free, anything more and it is no longer the best price
Reply:5-series cars depreciate like crazy. 1999 5-series can be purchased cheaper than 3-series.
But be prepared to spend some serious money on repairs, maintenance, and general nuisances. Reliability is poor. The car is over engineered.
If you really are interested in purchasing one, first go to some of the BMW user forums. You'll get the picture.

Should I keep or sell my Volvo S60?
I have a 2004 volvo s60 2.5t with 59000 miles on it. I'm reallllly interested in the new BMW x6 but all of my friends think I should keep it since it's paid off and is my only gas efficient vehicle. What do you think? Should I keep my volvo or sell it?

If it's silver, keep it.
Reply:You should give it to me...lol How big of a difference is the gas mileage. I like the vovlo's myself so I would keep it.
Reply:wow u should sell it, and buy the S70 but not the one made by gm.. buy the one made by volvo lol we used to have the 5cylinder one turbo! was awsome.. i like bmw, but volvo and saab are more like family cars... saab 95 is the most gangta car ive ever seen! in truth, u know what you want man... if u want the bmw, i say man, go 4 it!!!!!!!
Reply:It really depends on money. If you can afford a down payment without the Volvo, go for it. I've always loved the S60's. It was actually on my list of euro sedans when I was car shopping 3 years ago. Dont think Ide ever get rid of an S60 once I got one. Kinda the way I feel about my 9-3 Aero. I'll always keep her even when I do want a new car.
Can I ask why the X6? I personally think those things are beyond ugly. If your going to snobsville and buying a BMW why not be classy about it and get a 330 series or the new 1 series?
Personally, I feel there are tons of better choices in that price range. For 50K+ I would come out with a way sweeter car than the X6. Keep looking is my advice :)

A 95-98 Mercedes VS 00-04 Cavaliers etc.?
Hi,
I am a young guy with a small budget, so to speak.
Now my question would be; Would it be a good idea to get a 95-98 Mercedes over say a newer Cavalier, Sunfire etc?
I can buy a 1997 mercedes c230 for $4500-5000 I haven't heard back from the guy yet, but would assume the KM's would be somewhere between 150-200k.
Or I could get something like a $5000 02-03 Cav with 100k.
I love the class, the comfort etc that comes with a Mercedes - but at the same time am scared an older car is going to die on me. And I'm aware that to fix a Mercedes it takes a bit of a deep pocket.
Whereas the Cav has a lot less KM's, would probably be less to fix etc.
I am only really planning on driving X car for 1-2 years tops, to get used to driving and to basically crash it (seeing as how most first car buyers do). After that year or so I plan on buying a brand new car since I will have some experience.
So the car only needs to last me comfortably 1-2 years.
I would appreciate any info on this,
Thanks!

Better really think about how much $$$ you will need to maintain your car. That Mercedes will cost a lot of money.
A 95-98 Mercedes VS 00-04 Cavaliers etc.?
Because you mention "small budget" don't even bother with the Mercedes. Stay with American until you can buy a Mercedes with a new car warranty! Every thing on these cars are $$$.

Are the prices of trucks and SUV vehicles going down enough that it would be worth waiting for before buying?
Yes, with gas prices going through the roof, they are going to drop prices on larger vehicles as incentive to sell them. You'll probably be able to get great deals soon from dealerships, and also from private sellers.
Are the prices of trucks and SUV vehicles going down enough that it would be worth waiting for before buying?
Thats what I heard on the news
Are the prices of trucks and SUV vehicles going down enough that it would be worth waiting for before buying?
The prices are only going down because the prices of gas are going up. Before you buy, calculate how much gas you consume and see how much the change in gas price will hurt you.
Reply:We just bought a chrysler Aspen and got an amazing deal. We got it fully loaded (leather, navigation and so much more). They offered thousands off and low interest rates. We ended up out the door for a beautiful SUVaround $33,000

Is there any car delearship that i can trust?
you can trust pretty much any new car dealership.
Is there any car delearship that i can trust?
Heck no! They are in it for the money, not to make friends. Don't be fooled by any of them!
Is there any car delearship that i can trust?
NO, they are out to get your money you want to keep as much as you can. their your bf before the sale don't know who you are after sale
Reply:The majority of new car dealerships can be trusted. The dealer ship can be further checked through your BBB and consumer affair's office. Remember it takes only one individual to make any business look bad. If you don't like the way procedure's are handled, speak up and go to management.
Reply:I used to sell cars and the truth is, NO, you really can't trust them. In the end they are out to sell a car and make money, and if they can do it by tricking you (and sometimes outright lie to you) they will. That's why I got out of the industry. My conscience wouldn't let me do it any more!
That being said, not all salesmen (or women) are BAD, some are very pleasantand really DO try to be ethical. It's just that they are hard to find.
There ARE some things you can do to be prepared before going out though.
One is to get pre-approved for a loan. This way the dealership can't lie to you and push up the interest rate (believe it or not they get a percentage of whatever they can get you to agree to ABOVE what the bank sets as the "norm.").
The other is to learn the tricks they use.
Visit this blog site and read these articles. It exposes the tricks salespeople use to make you think you're getting a deal when you're not.

Reply:Define trust. All dealerships are out there to make money. Heck, all businesses are out there to make money. Just do your research on the car you want, know what price you should be paying and don't let them push you around. Don't be afraid to walk away from a deal if it's not right.
Reply:Yes, there are plenty. But frankly it starts with you, if you go in lying about a trade or a quote, a good salesman will pick up on it and you are in for a bad experience. If you go in with your cards on the table, MOST of the time you'll be fine.
It also depends on what kind of car you are looking for. Some brands have fierce competition, and that breeds liars and cheaters just to get ahead.
Almost any highline dealer will treat you right, but if you are not buying highline, ask your friends who they used at a certain dealer, a referral is always treated right.

Jeep for $8,000?
I want to buy a jeep for that the guy is asking $8,000 for. it definitely is worth 8000 plus but the bank will only loan me 6800 for it. i have enough money for 8 but i don't want to loose out in the long run. how should i go about trying to get less money? I have thought about telling him about the banks worth and then say i will give him 300 dollars as well. so total is 7100?
What would you say to get less or do??
Jeep for $8,000?
Go make the dude your best offer %26amp; tell him that's all you could come up with. G'luck.
Jeep for $8,000?
The bank did NOT say it was worth that amount, they said that is the amount they will loan on it, totally different thing.
$8,000 vehicle, you pay 15% down, or $1,200 and the balance is...$6.800, just what the bank will loan.
If you offer him $7,100 for an $8,000 car, you won't get a car, simple as that.
Reply:money is tight offer him $6,000
if he says no keep looking

If you offer him $7,100 for an $8,000 car, you won't get a car, simple as that.
Reply:money is tight offer him $6,000

Ac auction in alemeda?
yes we have, we purchaed 2 cars from them, one was a 05 dodge grand caravan with 65,000 miles on it when we bought it, we got it for 9000 which is a pretty damn good price
the 2nd car we got was a 05 nissan altima 2.5s it had 48,000 miles on when we bought it, we got it for 9500 which is also a pretty damn good price!
what you can do is one night before the auction they have a catalog avaliable with all the cars, go to www.acauction.com, find where it says catalog and u can see theyre inventory before you go, they auction certain cars at different times. you will need to put 100 dollars down if you purchase a car so take some cash with you,im pretty sure you can get a nice bmw for a gr8 price

What Is The Penalty For Selling A Vehicle With A Restitution LIen On It?
I bought a truck from a guy on craigslist, it broke down right after I bought it and it sat for a while, but when I finally got around to registering it, I couldn't, cause the vehicle had a restitution lien on it, so it was not his to sell legally.

Is it a good idea to refinance an auto loan? If I do, can I still trade in my car at anytime?
It is a good idea if you can get a better rate or if your just trying to lower your payment.
You always have the option to sell whenever you want but in today's market, you might owe more than your car is worth.
To check, the best way is to go to Carmax and have them put a bid on your car. Compare that to what you owe and it will show you if you have negative equity or not.
DO NOT let a local dealer give you the number as they will always be lower. Carmax pays more than dealers or wholesalers for pre-owned cars.
Is it a good idea to refinance an auto loan? If I do, can I still trade in my car at anytime?
yes and no.
If you can save significantly on the interest, then it can be OK.
BUT
Do NOT extend the term! A lot of people refinance their car and then stretch it out to the longest term possible to get a lower payment. When you do that, you end up giving back all of your savings, and then some, because you are paying even LONGER on the car. If you lower your payment by $25, but stretch the term 18 more months, then your savings gets flushed away. PLUS you stay upside down even longer, making it harder to trade out.
So, if you do refinance, don't extend the term. If you only have 30 months to go, then refinance for 30 months. Keep your eye on the big picture too
Is it a good idea to refinance an auto loan? If I do, can I still trade in my car at anytime?
That depends on your situation. There are many factors that go into a good refinance deal, and few can tell you whether its a good idea or not without more details.
Overall, it's always worth a shot. Brokers will run your application for free and tell you what kind of deals you can get.
You can sell your car at any point you'd like. But it'd look kinda weird to have one car loan, then another for like a month and then no car payment.

Does GM still offer their 24 hour test drive?
Specifically for a Buick Enclave. Do you pay or what? Thanks.
Does GM still offer their 24 hour test drive?
Depends on the dealership, but I would say yes, we do here at my dealership, chevrolet in cincinnati.

They do not in Cali but if your really wanting to test a car out Carmax gives you 5 days to exchange.
Reply:Certain Dealers do, others don't. I was at Nationwide Infiniti in Baltimore a couple of months ago looking at the G37, they said I could take it for the entire weekend. I was at BMW of Towson (avoid if possible), the dealer where I already bought two cars from, looking at the 335i, they said I could not even drive it to my house that was 5 Miles Away. Talk about a crappy dealership. I have no clue how they became one of the top dealers, and largest on the east coast. Never shop there.

Which car should I sell? 02 Maxima or 05 Galant?
I have to sell one or my cars so I'm seeking some professional advice on whicih car I should sell. The 02 maxima has 72,000 miles on it and the 05 Galant has 46,000 miles on it. They both are in great condition and I love both. It's not a money thing because I know both cars can sell quickly. I want to know which is a better car and which willl last in the long run? By the way It is a 4 cylinder Galant.

look at kelly blue book.
Which car should I sell? 02 Maxima or 05 Galant?
the 05 galant would get more money because it has less miles on it and it is a newer model so sell the 05 galant
Reply:if it were me id SELL the maxima, and not just because it has the most miles on it, but every one knows that the mitsubishi is better
Reply:I think the Galant
Reply:I'm not a professional.
All I can give you is just my "personal" opinion (for what it is worth, LOL)....
I've had 2 Nissan Maximas: 1987 and 1994. The 87 had the timing chain go out, so it was let go in 2001. The 94 I still have with it's 180k miles, 25 mpg. I am leasing (could not afford to buy) a 2006 Nissan Murano since my hubby needed a vehicle that could carry his wheelchair, had good legroom, and was of the seat height that hubby could "swing" into the cab of the car. I kept the old Nissan as a "backup" vehicle for the family (Ma, Pa, Sis %26amp; family, Bothers and familys), and it's been used quite a few times while other vehicles were in the shop. Very happy I've kept it.
I think why the 94 Nissan has done well is because I have religiously changed out the oil and filter on the car approx 4x per year (Mar 31, Jun 30, Sep 30, Dec 31), and that has helped it run smooth. New tires every 2-3 yrs good, too.
That is my opinion, keep the Nissan. I'd keep an eye on the timing chain... =)

Reply:the people below seriously dont know jack about cars. your maxima even though it has more mileage is worth more then your 05 galant, the galant was one of those cheap piece of crap cars you can get cheapp. the maxima is a gr8 car, v6, fun to drive, way better resale value then a galant and it will last you longer then your galant, sell the galant and keep the maxima
Reply:Sell the Galant. It is only at the three year old mark, after it reaches four, the resale value will tank. The sooner you get rid of it, the more money you can get. Even though the Maxima is older, it will most definitely last longer with less repairs and a higher resale value.
I priced out the Kelley Blue Book of Both, and a Nissan Maxima Base Model with 72,000 Miles, in the Zip Code of 21030 in Excellent Condition would be Worth $8940. The Galant on the other hand, DE Model, 46,000, Excellent Condition, in the 21030 Zip Code would be worth $8885.
Good Luck
Reply:You will get more money for the Galant, plus you could use the money to keep your maxima looking and running good. for a lifetime.
Reply:Keep your Nissan. It is alot better quality than the Mitsu and is more comfortable and more reliable.

HOW Can I sell A Car I OWE ON ... Can I get MY Title???
owe on a finnaced car about 4,000 late 2 months can, don't have title yet, can i get it and sell the car and just pay off loan is that even possible???? please help
HOW Can I sell A Car I OWE ON ... Can I get MY Title???
you would have to pay the car off before you can get the title, meaning hopefully you can sell it for at least what you owe on it. good luck
HOW Can I sell A Car I OWE ON ... Can I get MY Title???
Only to a dealer on a trade in and they work with you. Nobody will buy a car from you if you don't have a clear title.
Reply:I run a dealership and sometimes people in this situation sell the car to the dealer like a trade in execpt you don't buy anything. This way the dealer can get title for the car. This only works if your cars value is equal or better than the loan payoff. Otherwise you need to pay the difference to the dealer.
Otherwise, the person who buys the car from you would send the money to the bank who has the title. The bank will not release title until the car is paid in full and will take at least ten days for making sure the check clears.
Hope this helps.
Reply:You can sell the car to who ever you like. That is why i like to deal local. If the place is local then the buyer goes with you to the finance person and pays them off first and you what ever is above that if any. Then fills out the papers to get the title transfered into thier name. A little more if not local but call your finance company and they can explain.

What is a cute sports car with good gas mileage?
I am trying to sell my truck that I love, to save money on gas. Because of the prices of gas my truck is worth very little so I was thinking if I can drive a used sports car in the summer and the truck in the winter I would still save money. I like BMW Z3, Chevy Corvette and Camero. I know there are a ton of great cars out there and want some more to look into. As far as cost I would like to spend under $10,000.00. I know I won鈥檛 save as much money having two cars but I still will save some. My commute to work is far, I spend more than $350.00 a month in gas alone.

What is a cute sports car with good gas mileage?
well if you have calculated and you think you are gonna save more money...
(meaning your new car payment + gas on the new car = less than truck's gas) than it would be a good idea to get a new car. if you want a cute sports car maybe go for a Toyota Celica GTS or something even. You can get a 90's BMW 3 series 2 door as well for under $10k.

These can all be had for under $10K if they are used. But, even used, they can be very high mileage %26amp; still cost alot of $$. That is because they are reliable and have always had good resale value. Avoid all Korean made cars like Kia %26amp; Hyundai. They are money pits %26amp; usually die very soon.

Kelly Blue Book. Is it good or?
Is Kelly Blue Book accurate? Should dealer go according to this book?
Also when the vehicle you are buying has a dealer certified, do you pay extra for that?
Kelly Blue Book. Is it good or?
Yeah the KBB is good and accurate, most dealers use the KBB to price cars as well. Also, yes, dealer certified cars usually cost more money because they are guaranteed in some way and inspected by the dealer.
Kelly Blue Book. Is it good or?
the funny thing about the dealer certified used vehicles,is that no matter what the dealer is required to inspect a vehicle, for safety anyway so u are paying more for nothing
Reply:Kelly blue book is 30-45 days behind on values of what they sold for at the auction. A more accurate book would be the carriage hill black book. Depending on your dealer they may use NADA, or Mannheim as well. Also it depends on the Area you are in per say if you live in Denver, Co then they would use a rocky mountain edition. Kelly as the rest of them are just guides nothing more, the dealer may value your vehicle less or more depending on a number of factors, mileage, over all condition, the way it drives etc..... They also call and get buy bids from wholesalers also if they are trying to get more for the trade to work out a deal. just do your research and print off what you come up with that way you can justify your requested amount you want for your trade.
Certified means that it has a more thorough inspection performed on it so yes you should expect to pay more due to the fact it is of a better quality. Like with ford's they have to be better than lease turn in vehicles. It adds warranty to the vehicle from ford, not a service contract but a warranty. So you should expect more.
Reply:KBB almost ALWAYS values cars too high. Edmunds is a much more accurate source. If you try to sell a car for the KBB value, you'll never get rid of it.
Dealers have no obligation to go by any "book" value, including KBB. They can sell a car for whatever price they feel like selling it for, and have no obligation to give you any specific amount for a trade in.
"Certified" pre-owned just means "more expensive" pre-owned. Dealers claim they check them out more thoroughly, but who knows what they actually do. Don't assume that a car is more reliable or has been treated any differently by it's previous owner just because a dealer "certifies" it. At the end of the day, all "certified" means is they're going to charge you more for that car than one that isn't certified.

What would you prefer to get? And why? [everyone ... specially college students]?
Okay my question is ... what would you prefer to get "purchase" ... A sport fancy car ...OR, a standard car + a motorcycle? And just to clear things up ... [sport fancy car] is like Chorveete, BMW, Mercedes ... etc. [A standard car] is more like New model of Honda's Nissan .... etc. Just try to imagine yourself as a college student with enough money that makes you in between these two choices ... what would you do? And why?
Thanks
What would you prefer to get? And why? [everyone ... specially college students]?
Hell, go for the sport cars.
What would you prefer to get? And why? [everyone ... specially college students]?
cheap car and a bike, with a maxima or other midsize car you can get a good amount of horsepower. and still have a bike for the summer thats what i did. 2002 maxima 300hp. and a kawasaki zx9r 150hp....all you need!
Reply:Hot, sexy, red sports car! You only live once.
Reply:Well i must be the perfect answer, since i am in that situation.
Here's my input: don't get the sport fancy car. Why not? Cause it will get messed up, guaranteed. People in college get jealous and key your car as they walk by or in the parking lots they back into your car all the time, and it happens at pretty much every campus everyday. The majority of college kids wont care if they hit your car backing out and will just drive away.
Get a Honda Civic or something to drive around and get a motorcycle to drive to campus. Driving a motorcycle to campus is much easier. Also for the majority of colleges, a motorcycle permit is a lot cheaper than a car parking permit. So what you should do (and what i see a lot of people - including myself) doing is to buy a Honda or something to drive around friends and stuff or to go out, and buy a motorcycle to take to campus. A tank of gas in a motorcycle should last you about a month of going back and forth to campus if thats the only thing you use it for and you don't live too far.
Regular car + motorcycle is your best bet, you'll save money driving the motorcycle to campus and your Civic or whatever the other car is won't attract so much attention that people will key it. how do i know? G35 at the dorm, got really keyed up. Got a Honda Prelude after that, no problems; then i turbo'd the prelude and made it all nice and it got keyed. Jealousy and haters are abundant at colleges!
Some of my friends have a regular car to drive around and a motorcycle to drive around campus. Next year i'm planning on doing the same thing, i'm gonna un-turbo the prelude and keep it looking just "OK" and then get a motorcycle.
Thanks

I bought an OPC car in S'pore but now i wan to tranfer the car to my fren's name. How do i go about it? Help!
I recently bought an OPC car. Now I going oversea n wud like to tranfer it to my fren's name. How do i go about doing it? This car is under a bank loan now.
What are the things needed for the transfer, what must my fren have and what must I pay to do this? How long must I wait to tansfer??
Anyone got any idea? Can help me out coz I'm really stuck. I really dunno what i shud do or shud i sell it to my fren through an agent? Which is a better option out?
If you have answers pls let me know. I went through LTA website but I dun seem to understand what they are talking about. What shoud i know about buying a prius hybrid?
what are some pros and cons about this car? i'm thinking of getting one but i want to know if its worth it
What shoud i know about buying a prius hybrid?
Pros: You'll save money on gas and pollute less. They're a good size and you can fit a decent amount of stuff in the back. They're Toyotas so they're rock solid and dependable.
Cons: When they do break down (rare), they're more expensive to fix.
What shoud i know about buying a prius hybrid?
Yes. This is REAL.. it DOES WORK! I have done it to my personal cars, and all of my family
members who requested.. (which was most of them!)
I recommend buying this guide since its the cheapest (29.95 instead of 35 or 60 !) and it's
the same as all the other ones. Good luck and happy saving!
This is the website where you can find the cheapest guide to convert your car on water..

Used BMW???
I hear there are many precautions you have to take before purchasing a used, foreign car. What hidden(extra) expenses might there be with a used BMW?
Used BMW???
shipping and handling
Used BMW???
I don't know, but I was considering getting a used BMW and everyone said NO because the repair costs are sky high.
I bought a brand new Nissan Altima coupe instead.. LOVE IT.
Reply:there are always precautions to take when buying ANY car. there is not extra hidden fee for a foreign car if you buy it from another country and they have to ship it to you.
hope it helps =)
Reply:Oh nothing it's just going to cost 10x more to fix it since its a Bmw and its foriegn. Ahhh people and their Bmw's. I always ask myself why?
Reply:That brand of car can be a good investment. You may want a car expert to come with you and look at the car before buying it. I almost got one myself. But I didn't want to blow my money on one. Plus the insurance.
Reply:You need to look at the cost of maitnenance and if there are any certified BMW dealerships that you can take it too if need be, yes many repairs can still be made by others but not everything and it is something to consider. Also a lot of BMW's recommend high test fuel which as we all know is something to consider also. Your also looking at potentially higher car insurance cost. Hope that helps.
Reply:EVERY used car has quirks you need to look out for. Things that are known to fail on that car that don't necessarily fail on all cars. Things that are more important on that car that aren't serious on another.
Here is one checklist.
http://www.unixnerd.demon.co.uk/bmwcheck...
It omits a few important things on some models. Just google "used bmw %26gt;model%26lt; checklist" or something like that. You WILL find information on buying used BMWs of the model you specify. You should specify the platform, not the model name...ie: E30 rather than 325i.
The hidden expenses with BMWs in general are the fact that parts on old ones (10-20 years, sometimes older) tend to run about 50% more expensive than parts for economy cars. Some cost more than that. Some cost less. Some are actually cheaper than parts on say a Honda Civic. But generally it's around 50% more. And expert, BMW-specialist help is significantly more expensive than that. If you do not have a lot of money to spend on maintenance, you had best learn to do the easy stuff yourself.
Oh, and the "M" in "M3" is said to stand for "Multiply by." As in multiply the price of everything by 3. (I'm pretty sure an M5 isn't actually going to be 5 times more expensive to maintain as a regular 5 series.) They're only half-kidding.
And the 7 series and 8 series are known for unreliability, and their parts are mostly VERY expensive. If you can't afford a new one, you can't afford a used one.

Do you think that trading a Explorer Sport w/ 120,000 with a Focus w/ 90,000 is a good trade? Same value?
We have the Explorer sport with 120,000 mile and gas cost is just killing us now that my husband is going 16 miles each way to work. We spend to much on it for gas and I know it is less of a car but the gas mileage that he focus will get will save us in the end. Do you think it's a good and fare trade?? PLEASE HELP

I saw a TV show about this last week. Yeah, it's a good deal because you'll save all kinds of money on gas. Those big SUVs are pretty much worthless now, unless you're rich enough to keep filling them up with more gas.

How much do toyota dealers get for discount?
how much do the ppl working @ toyota dealership or any get discounted off the cars if they wanted to buy one cash?
How much do toyota dealers get for discount?
it depends on the model and availability of the car and each dealership has its own guidelines for that. but you do get a pretty good discount. just ask someone from that particular dealership. they should tell you.
How much do toyota dealers get for discount?
You can FORGET getting a deal on a popular car. If you want ANYTHING that sells, you'll pay what any stroke on the street will pay. If you want something nailed to the showroom floor...DEAL.
Now if it's a Ram 2500 V-10 pickup. they'll go behind invoice into holdback JUST to get it off the inventory BUT if I wanted a Prius, (or any car which actually SELLS) I'd pay sticker.
I was talking to a Honda car salesman yesterday, everything at his dealer is discounted except Hybrids.
I work at an HD dealer, if I wanted a VRod, I'd get a deal, If I wanted a Softail Deluxe, not so much.

What kinds of cars would suit me?
I'm a chick and I don't know tooooo much about what goes on under the hood but I have good exterior taste. I like sports cars and trucks and I don't want an old recycled family vehicle. I'm young so I want something fun to drive. My only issue is that work is far away so I need good gas mileage so a truck is really out of the picture unless it gets 20+ mpg. I currently drive a 94 mustang but it's getting a bit shotty so I'm thinking of trading up. I'd like to stick with an American make, unless its a porsche or something, but no VW, Nissan, or Toyota. It's gotta be an eye-catcher. Older years are good because I'm looking to buy used and cheap-ish (under 6k). Please recommend!
What kinds of cars would suit me?
I drive a Cobalt SS Supercharged.. and I love it!
What kinds of cars would suit me?
Honda Civic or Ford Focus
Reply:a different mustang or a firebird, or camaro
Reply:it will be hard to find an eye catcher with great gas mileage that isn't shotty for under 6k... but um, you could get like a used mitsubishi eclipse maybe?? or i would say jetta but ur against vw apparently.. sry but u will find no porsche or fancy car for this kind of money... lol
Reply:Small American cars:
Dodge Neon
Ford Focus
Ford Aspire
Chevy Cobalt
Chevy Aveo
can't think of any more unless you wanna go real old, like Chevettes and Dodge Omni and stuff like that.
Reply:It's going to be hard to come in under your budget, but you can try. Why not a Honda Civic Si (older one)? It's no domestic, but at least all of them have looked decent or even nice, are far more reliable than any American make and get excellent fuel economy. Plus, they are fun to drive. Domestics of the last 10-20 years tend to have very, very bad reliability. Trucks are the best of the American vehicles but get really bad fuel economy and hurt alot at the pumps. If you're not sure about what kind of car you want, you should check out reliability ratings by buying a Consumer Reports Car Guide- they really will help you.
Oh, and by the way, the Ford Focus looks cool to me. They are far less reliable than a Honda Civic, but it is one of the few American models of many years to be fun-to drive and agile.
Hope this helps!

Reply:sporty...eye catching...fun to drive... decent gas mileage... domestic... relatively cheap. Sounds to me like you want another V6 Mustang. You could look at a V6 Camaro or Firebird as well. A Focus SVT (it's a hatchback with a 6 speed and sport suspension) would probably fit the bill, but they're VERY hard to find.

Thinking Of buying a 2000 Volkswagen Passat?
I've beening thinking of buying a passat but the only ones in my price range are the 4 cylinder turbos. And all the reviews that I've read said that they are ok on reliability. Some say they love them others say they are pieces of junk. Are they a good car or a disaster?
Thinking Of buying a 2000 Volkswagen Passat?
GREAT CAR! Even Consumer Reports which is very American biased gave it great reviews. Go for it, make sure it has records, and checked out by a VW mechanic, prior to purchase.

What's a fast p-plate legal car for <$3000?
I was thinking of getting a Nissan Skyline R31 as my first, but with petrol prices about to reach the $2 mark, I think the 6 cylinder RB30E would be a bad idea for a 'to-be' 1st year apprentice.
My friend told me to get an old corolla with rear wheel drive, cheap to run and you can get it side ways. But the best models are the AE86, which would cost a lot more than 3grand.
Anybody got any suggestions on what would be a fast, Japanese, fuel efficient, reliable and okay looking car?

were do you live! in california it is $4.50 a gallon, wait do live in Europe were they price it in liters?

Is it illegal to trade a car that was financed to you?
if someone is financed for a car, then two months later they decide they want to trade it in (in another province) and then they get a new car, register that car to themselves, and stop paying the loan on the car in X province and now this car with a lein on it has been traded to a dealer, who sells it to X......is that against the law here in Canada? Or in the US?
The company that loaned this person the money the car (to finance) is not allowed to do business in Quebec (because of the policy which forbids certain interest rates) yet this lender who is 4,000 kms away in (Alberta) is out their money or their car?
Anyone can help on this scenario for me?
Is it illegal to trade a car that was financed to you?
the finance company has the title you can;t sell or trade it without a title legally
Is it illegal to trade a car that was financed to you?
As stated, you can't trade in a car with a lien on it unless the dealer pays off the lien. Only then could they sell it to someone else.
If such a thing were to happen (unlikely) the original lender would go after you to pay as promised or return the car, and if you couldn't return the car, you'd have no choice but to pay.
Reply:I would imagine that car dealers in Canada have safeguards for that situation. They would probably find out that you have a loan on it. You would not be the first person to try this.
In the US, most states send the title to the leinholder or at least have the their name on the title. They would try to get the release of lein from them and find out about the loan on the vehicle.
Reply:u have to contact dealers for that i think, and lol thnxs for answering my question, and dont worry im doing it more for fun and getting a scholarship but im not a weightlifting person, im not lik a muscley woman haha

How do I go about getting a car loan in Ontario?
And how long does it take? Like can I just go in and get one (if approved)? I'm looking for a loan under $10,000, by the way.
How do I go about getting a car loan in Ontario?
depends on your credit rating your job and various other factors. i got a loan a couple years back no problem through cibc for about the same amount. didn't need any collateral or references. once approved it will take a couple wks to get the money
How do I go about getting a car loan in Ontario?
It should really save you time to just get an auto loan price online to see what todays rates are. You might be pleasantly suprised. Also if your credit is not so great, a lot of them are more willing to work with you.
What I always tell folks is that an online quote at http://auto.lowratetoday.com is a no brainer.
Reply:Car loans for people with bad credit score are mainly given as two options i.e. secured and unsecured. Under a secured loan, the car or any other collateral needs to be pledged as security with the lender. Secured loans often carry a lower rate of interest and are also easily approved due to the collateral%26lt;!--being placed. Unsecured loans for cars generally have a higher rate of interest as there is no collateral and hence the risk to the lender is more. Both these loans are generally provided for a time ranging between 5-7 years. Clearing some of your old debts can improve your credit score, which may in turn fetch you lower interest rates when you are applying for auto loans.

A person may incur a poor credit score due to many reasons such as accumulated arrears, defaults, repayments that have been omitted and so on. With the advent of bad credit auto loans, even those with a not so good--%26gt;credit history are being provided with the opportunity to purchase a vehicle. A down payment is however required while acquiring these funding options. Refinance car loans are also being provided by some lenders even for those with a poor credit score.

Reply:I know of a well known registered and legitimate loan company, that gave me loan with bad credits, and they are legit to enough to help you in your situation.. it is not needing a loan, but getting the loan you need.

What new (or newer used) vehicles come prequipped with GPS?
I dont mean the GPS you buy and install. I mean something embedded in the dash, navigation GPS system. Thanks.
What new (or newer used) vehicles come prequipped with GPS?
The gps units that comes in the cars that are already in the dash are pretty costly about 5 or six times the amount of one you buy in the store. If it stops working what happens you have to buy the same one to put back in and then how much is it going to cost you $1800.00. So just buy one and add to the car for about $300.00.

Gas Prices?
Does Anyone Have Any Idea When Gas Prices Are Going Down?
Gas Prices?
Probably never....... They have us by the short hair and unless everyone curtails driving, it will keep going up.
Gas Prices?
Probably when we start using more fuels like ethanol that are renewable and cheaper than gas. (Cheaper due to gasoline reaching $5.00 NOW!)
Reply:once ppl stop using gas to fuel their cars. Once the world clues in to what ppl have been saying for decades... global warming is a reality!
Reply:NEVER.
well, heres my theory: Inflation will catch up with the gas prices, much like it had in the past. When the dollar is worth less, you'll be making more, which balances out high gas prices.
but, with the gradually increasing use of oil in other countries and gas guzzlers in America, i highly doubt that now.
I think fuel will be cheaper when we decide to boycott it and seek less of a demand for it.

What is the glasses guide meaning for the abbreviation PSP?
Glasses guide is an automotive guide for the motor industry providing up to date details and values of used cars. It might possibly mean pressure sensitive paint.
It has nothing to do with the Sony PSP.

Should I get a Mazdaspeed3?
This will be my first car. I've been saving money for a long time, and I have enough to get it with a little help from my parents.
I'm deciding between this, a civic Si, or a Mazda6.
Any suggestions?
Should I get a Mazdaspeed3?
Yes. 0-60 in 5.8. Stupendous Built Quality, Amazing Styling, A Good Value. What is there not to love? the Civic SI looks too much like a regular Civic, and the Mazda6 is too generic.
Should I get a Mazdaspeed3?
yes
but check with your insurance company first
some are charging more for speed versions.
Reply:Buying a high performance car as a first car is a huge mistake. Your insurance premiums will be huge, and you're likely to hurt yourself worse when (not if, when) you wreck it. My first car had 135hp and me and my brother still took it over 110mph way too often.
The regular Mazda3 Sport is plenty sporty and fun to drive. It also gets better gas mileage and will be cheaper, especially since you'll have an easier time finding one used. Why don't you prove that you're actually responsible by not getting the fastest car you can (almost) afford.

I recently purchased a vehicle (about 2 weeks ago). Today the dealership called and said they need more?
information about my employment. I have already signed the papers and was approved and everything. Why are they requesting additional information AFTER I signed papers and gave them a down payment? (This was for a brand new car)
Thanks

When you buy a car and sign the papers and all it's a "conditional approval". They think you meet the criteria set forth by the lender. There is still the issue of the lender ACTUALLY VERIFYING the information. It's typical, if you didn't lie on the application, you should have nothing to worry about. Usually a formality.

Hello,
I wouldn't sweat it, give them the info they are asking for.
It could just be some minor oversight on their part.
Reply:The lender is just verifying your information submitted on the application. If it's just information they are seeking ( and you didn't fudge on any financials) you should be fine. If they start asking for more money, then I'd start to worry.

Scooters are great if you dont plan on driving in the winter. I would suggest a used Honda or Toyota sedan. They are reliable, get great gas mileage and hold value fairly well. Remember before you buy any used vehicle make sure and have a certified mechanic inspect it.
Reply:It really depends how cheap you want if you talking really really cheap I would suggest looking at ebay or Craigslist first but if your looking kinda cheap maybe autotrader. it just depends

I'm looking for a vehicle that holds 6 People with 3 in car seats that gets >=25 MPG in town.?
I'm looking for a vehicle that can comfortably hold 6 people, 2 adults and 4 children under the age of 9 with 3 of them in car seats that gets 25 MPG or better that has space available for a weeks worth of groceries. The vehicle needs to have good safety ratings and must be durable and easy to repair. A vehicle that runs on alternate fuels such as ethanol is desired, but not required.
I've looked at Minivans and SUVs, unfortunately, I haven't found any that meets the criteria listed above.
Is anybody aware of a vehicle for sale in the United States that meets these requirements?
I'm looking for a vehicle that holds 6 People with 3 in car seats that gets %26gt;=25 MPG in town.?
look at the v-6 nissan quest mini van. They are very good dependable vans and they get great gas milage! Good luck
I'm looking for a vehicle that holds 6 People with 3 in car seats that gets %26gt;=25 MPG in town.?
You can always go with the mini-van. My favorites are the Nissan Quest and the Honda Odyssey, my parents had them both.
I currently drive a Toyota 4-Runner, probably the most reliable car on the road. A little worse gas mileage, but you'll never have a problem with it. Best of luck!
Reply:My wife has a Town %26amp; Country (Chrysler) extremely nice gets about 27 MPG and can run on E85. Good for a family. 5 star crash test rating!!
Reply:Well, My taurus seats 6 but only gets 16 in town...
MY "K"-car seats 6 but was made in 1986, but it does get almost 25 in town.
Old mercedes Diesels seat 6 if you get 2 bench seats, get 30mpg in town because it`s a diesel, no computers, no tune-ups, and still meet safety standards..Wagons seat 7.
Diesels need no tune-ups, only filter and oil changes, so simple to work on really (I work on them)

Definitely not a lemon. 19 years on the road; it's a veteran of decades of transportation. Show a little respect.

Anyone know if i can get this deal?
i have bad credit, bout $500 bucks, does anyone know of a dealer ship that will get me in a car with monthly payments less then $200?
Anyone know if i can get this deal?
bad credit = higher interest = higher monthly payment
low down payment = more financed = higher monthly payment
bad credit + low down payment = very high monthly payment
sorry, but that's how it works. best thing you can do is a long term financing plan. it'll noticably lower you payments, though it'll end up costing more in the long run
Anyone know if i can get this deal?
If you can car pool for a while and save some cash then look at buying some transportation. If you can not wait then yes long term loan, lower payments, but will pay more over the long haul.
Reply:Any of those buy here / pay here places can sell you a $500 car for $3000 using the terms you listed. That's all they do, all day long.
You need to realize that for $200 a month, a normal person can buy a nice brand new car. That's big car payment.
Reply:Well... not really... unless you want to buy a used car (80s model) for 2K.... still with a high interest.
Depending on your FICO score and if you have any lates... some banks like Wells Fargo Financial Services will lend to a person with a FICO score of 550+ enough for you to get some money for a car or a good downpayment.
If you do get an approval for a loan... get a new car... something like a Ford Focus 08 model... you'll still have a high interest payment...

We have the Explorer sport with 120,000 mile and gas cost is just killing us now that my husband is going 16 miles each way to work. We spend to much on it for gas and I know it is less of a car but the gas mileage that he focus will get will save us in the end. Do you think it's a good and fare trade?? PLEASE HELP

Honestly I say no... your better off trading your vehicle for a newer model Ford Focus car with all the "bells and whistles" with the maintenance package (of course warranty)... there's so many incentives in purchasing a new Ford Focus. Research online before you buy one.

Leasing vs. Buying a car?
I am wanting to lower my monthly car payment. I like change, so I don't like to keep a car for any longer than 5 years, max. What are the advantages and disadvantages of leasing versus buying a car? And what about costs of leasing vs. buying?
Leasing vs. Buying a car?
A least vehicle that is leased for a 48 month period of time will end up making an extra 40%. A new vehicle that sells for $35,000 and is leased for 48 months will make the dealer by the end of the plan about $49,000, there are many pit falls that they don't want to to know very much about. You are renting this vehicle? Well really? if it is rented then who is paying for the maintanice? You are. What do you have at the end of 5 years with a lease vehicle? answer is Nothing. The very reason that it works so well for the dealer is because people aren't thinking about the cost of the vehicle but that they can drive it and feel like it is their own but it isn't theirs. If you hurt the vehicle during the time that you have had it they are going to charge you for that. I am sure that some one will say that that is why you have insurance, yep! it is but as soon as that vehicle is repaired it will be turned in and show as a vehicle that has been in an accident. even is you had a few scratches on it and decided to have it spot painted that will reduce it's value and they will charge you for that.
I would tell my kids to buy the car and not to least it. Even though the payment might be a little bit higher but it will pay off in the long run.

Where can i go online to see how much my car is worth?????
Gas is just to much and i want a smaller car but i don't know how much my car is worth so i can trade it in for a smaller 1..
Where can i go online to see how much my car is worth?????
Kelley Blue Book, Automobile.com, Edmund's,
Where can i go online to see how much my car is worth?????
You can go several places.
Kelly Blue Book is good. www.kbb.com
Edmunds.com
NADA.com
NADA usually gives you a steeper price than what it's really worth, and edmunds usually undershoots it by a little bit. That's why I always use Kelly Blue Book.
Just plug in the info it asks you for and it takes about 5 minutes. Real easy.
Best of luck.
Reply:www.kbb.com

Reply:Carfax.com is the best site. It also gives you car history, damage history. And you can actually buy a car through carfax.
Reply:http://www.kbb.com is what most dealerships use to appraise a car but also plus or minus the physical condition of the vehicle.
You can actually go into a car dealership after your research and turn in your car for a smaller car to get a new one... ask if there's any incentives...or rebates with a new one with better gas mileage.
Reply:There is a website called "www.bluebook.com.au". They tell you what the car is worth, how many km's it should have done for its age, and how much it is worth at a dealership.
Reply:KBB is no doubt going give you the most accruate price if you want to price it a little bit higher go with NADA

This is my firebird that I have decided not to put on ebay becasue I don't wanna pay to advertise it when I can just put it on here for free its got 145000 miles on it it's a automatic its dark green its got t-tops awesome in the summer time they don't leak the car runs good just changed a plug wire in it, car looks great I will sell this to you for 4000 OBO or i will also trade for another sporty car like a mustang or camaro or heck anything sporty like that. also would trade for a good suv/truck. really i might take anything actually a good ATV newer model or a Motorcyle or something just offer me something who knows I'll probably take it The reason I am getting rid of this car is I want something else to drive around and that's the only reason I will also take a partial trade like maybe your vehilce may not be worth as much as mine I will take your vechile plus a little to boot and well that's pretty much it you can email me for offers more detials or whatever or you can call me at 304-245-8852 or 304-369-2730 down at the bottom are the links where you can see some pics of the car thanks for looking at my ad and have a great day.

Buying a car in san diego california without a drivers license?
does anyone know where i can buy a car in sd without a drivers license ? at a dealership or something where i can make payments%26gt;
Buying a car in san diego california without a drivers license?
It depends on weather your license is suspended or just don't have one. If its suspended then its not likely that you'd get a car. But you just don't have one then think about getting one beforehand.
Buying a car in san diego california without a drivers license?
In order to buy a car you have to show proof of insurance. And since you do not have a driver's license you probably do not have car insurance either (well that is how it works in NJ and I'm not sure about CA).
How are you planning on driving the car home if you don't have a license?

I need to know which car is better an Enzo Ferrari or a Lamborghini Murcielago LP640?
Please no stupid things and I have a race two months from now and I need answers.
I need to know which car is better an Enzo Ferrari or a Lamborghini Murcielago LP640?
It's a Ferrari Enzo. Enzo isn't a car make, it's a model.
Enzos tip the scales right around 3 quarters of a million hitting 1-60 in about 2.4 seconds.
Enzo by far, but have fun affording it.
I need to know which car is better an Enzo Ferrari or a Lamborghini Murcielago LP640?
The Enzo Ferrari
is sometimes referred to colloquially (some say incorrectly) as the Ferrari Enzo and Ferrari F60; this gives the false impression that it was named for Ferrari's 60th anniversary, which is 2007 rather than 2003 when the Enzo was launched (the official internal nomenclature is actually F131 and there is a F60 due to be released in 2009)

Decent priced, reliable car, for 16 year old?
I have been looking around at cars during this summer and thinking about maybe getting a car in the future. What would be something that is somewhat cheap on gas, but is not slow or sluggish than a turtle, and is reliable and good for a male teenager? Price can be up to or near $4k.
Decent priced, reliable car, for 16 year old?
Nissan sentra,s are nice and sporty looking and yet cheap on gas and cheap on insurance, and there's plenty of those around they range in price from 2 thousand on up,and they do hold up really good, the one great thing about those right now is the gas mileage they get,its really good, and when fixed up they look as good as any other car on the road,it might be something to consider, good luck.

Try something like a Camaro or Firebird or Mustang ones that are V6 mine gets good gas milliage in fact I am looking to sell mine right now though. I've had it since I was 16 That Firebird was good to me. So that's what I suggest there not slow and there decent on gas
Reply:for $4,000
look for
98 Acura CL, 98 Ford Mustang V6, 98 Honda Accord or Civic, 98 Nissan Frontier or Pathfinder, 98 Subaru Impreza or Legacy, 98 -00 Toyota Corolla or Echo 00

Which car do you think is the best?
In terms of the most cost effective %26amp; fuel efficent yet good performance? The Mazada RX8, Mitshubitshi evolution or Honda civic?
Which car do you think is the best?
Civic
Which car do you think is the best?
I have a girl friend who just bought a new Honda Civic. She told me that she saves so much more gasoline in a month!
Reply:I would have to say the Honda Civic it's cheper and gets better gas milliage
Reply:This has to be a loaded question. If you've done 10 minutes of searching you'd know the answer.
The RX8 drinks gas like a big block V8 and is finicky. It's a decent car but you're mainly paying for it's uniqueness and performance.
The Evolution is a high performance machine. It has tons of power, AWD and is meant to be driven hard. Of course the gas mileage sucks (compared to similar sized sedans) and a lot of them are ragged out because of aggressive driving and/or racing.
A Honda Civic is a weak engined economy car meant to sip gas. It is reliable and and gets good MPG, but is not even in the same class of vehicles as the other two.

Can i get extra cash back on a car loan if the seller is asking less than blue book?
car is worth $12,000 and seller is asking $9,000. I'd like to get a little back for taxes, title, registration, etc. can the bank cut a check to the seller, and a check to me? I know they can put a lien for the whole value of the car (100% loan to value), but can the money go elsewhere as well?
Can i get extra cash back on a car loan if the seller is asking less than blue book?
You might be able to do what you are thinking, but not that way.
I have done that before. I saw a car for sale, went to the bank for it, got the loan for the full amount, then went back to the dealers and negotiated a lower price.
As I had a car loan, the bank would only give me a cheque made out to the dealer.
What I had to do was tell the dealer, and he then gave me cash back.
Maybe if you negotiate with the seller, he will give you a cheque or cash back for the other $3000.

It can really save you time to just get an automobile loan quote online to see what the going rates are. You might be really happy. Also if your credit is not the best, a lot of online loaners are more able to help you.
What I most often tell folks is that an online quote at http://auto.lowratetoday.com is the way to go.
