O.k my husband had struts done on his car and the car has been making a weird noise when I turn right. so...he told me to take it back to the place where he originally got the struts done and to bring the reciept. well, I found an invoice that has the down payment and the rest of the cost. is that good enough or does it suppose to have something like paid in full on it?

That should be enough to show they did the work. However, it may not have been the work they did that is causing the noise. If you are unsure, have it checked by another shop. An inspection is usually free.
