I am a colllege student so I can't afford to pay over $200 a month. I'm trying to find a good deal for a small car...fuel efficient 4 cylinder car...or is it a better idea to attempt to buy a car and pay monthly payments? although I heard thats not a good idea bcuz of negative equity...

You have to go used and DO NOT LEASE! Also, NEVER shop for a car in payments. Shop in total price.
