owe on a finnaced car about 4,000 late 2 months can, don't have title yet, can i get it and sell the car and just pay off loan is that even possible???? please help

you would have to pay the car off before you can get the title, meaning hopefully you can sell it for at least what you owe on it. good luck

Only to a dealer on a trade in and they work with you. Nobody will buy a car from you if you don't have a clear title.
Reply:I run a dealership and sometimes people in this situation sell the car to the dealer like a trade in execpt you don't buy anything. This way the dealer can get title for the car. This only works if your cars value is equal or better than the loan payoff. Otherwise you need to pay the difference to the dealer.





Otherwise, the person who buys the car from you would send the money to the bank who has the title. The bank will not release title until the car is paid in full and will take at least ten days for making sure the check clears.

Reply:You can sell the car to who ever you like. That is why i like to deal local. If the place is local then the buyer goes with you to the finance person and pays them off first and you what ever is above that if any. Then fills out the papers to get the title transfered into thier name. A little more if not local but call your finance company and they can explain.
