I am a girl obviously and i am also a sophmore in college, but i do not know anything about cars. Can someone provide some insight on this for me?
Im trying to buy a used honda, but the ones i see in my price range have very high mileage on it, is this bad?
Most hondas, if properly maintain, can last to more than 200,000 miles, even 300,000 miles. Make sure the car is in good condition, use carfax, and make sure to get a mechanic to check the engine of the car, and the body.

Hondas holdup well even with high mileage if properly maintained. Toyotas and Nissans as well.
Reply:I sell Honda Vehicles that have in excess of 150k Miles on a consistent basis....and as long as they have been maintained properly can and will last 150 K beyond that..
Personally, I still have my 94 EX Accord Coupe with 213k Miels on it...and it gets 35 MPG and runs/looks great..
Some of the main things to look for on a High-Milage Used Honda would be the Following:
Timing belt has been replaced...every 100-120k Miles
Engine Mounts / Ball Joints / Transmission / Regular oil changes performed
A/C Blows Cold
Other than that, make sure that the Body Panels still have the Original VIN Sticker on them and of course get a Carfax report....then you should be ok.
Get the right kind of Honda, and it will outlast many New cars that are on the road right now...

Reply:I had a 2001 honda civic with 156000 miles on it. Car drove great til it got smashed up. Never had a problem with it. Hondas can go up to like 250,000. I wouldnt worry bout it.
